This presentation will describe a model for leveraging our distance learning response that was necessitated by COVID-19 to launch a multi-purpose, future-ready teaching and learning initiative. Our model will extend synchronous online opportunities for students K-12 while simultaneously providing a grade-specific repository of technology integrated lessons and resources. Grade level teams comprised of teachers, technology specialists and curriculum specialists will collaborate to design, refine and implement evidence-based instructional practices that can be used online as well as during live instruction. Their designs will be modeled and shared district-wide with all teachers through ongoing virtual professional learning and collaboration opportunities.
