Most people who pursue a career in education are lifelong learners. In addition to required professional development, they look for further opportunities to increase their professional capacity. The Hope Street Group Utah Teacher Fellowship is one such opportunity. It is a 2 year fellowship program that empowers teachers to become leaders both inside and outside of the classroom. Teachers become leaders through learning to engage with policymakers and stakeholders at every level, advocating for their profession, and working with other educators across the state.
If you are interested in 1) leadership opportunities for teachers without having to leave the classroom, 2) looking for ways to refresh and rejuvenate your love for teaching 3) and/or you want to find new ways to advocate for your profession, this fellowship might be right for you! Come join this moderated panel discussion with current and former fellows discussing their professional learning pathways and how the Utah Teacher Fellow program helped empower them to become teacher leaders.
